So today i pulled into a pretty much empty gas station, with 10 open pumps, to grab some cigarettes. i get out of my car and hear someone laying on their horn. what do i do? ignore it and go into the store, all while the driver is still laying on the horn.

get into the store, get my smokes and am finalizing my payment. an older lady, in about her 50s and looks like she hasn’t had the best life, storms in a says, “you’re a fucking asshole.”

I respond with a simple, “there’s a certain way to talk to people and there is a way not to.”

she goes off talking about how i didn’t pull up enough and how i’m a fucking asshole, blah blah blah. I simply say ok and continue on with my business, all while she’s still bitching and moaning about it. As i’m finishing my payment, the cashier says to just drop it, like i’m even acknowledging with this crazy lady is saying. I finish my payment, say thank you and tell the cashier to have a nice day.

As i’m leaving the gas station, she’s on my ass and speeds past me after i turn onto the main street, which means she obviously didn’t need gas.

So my question is, at what point did people stop teaching manners? This lady is obviously a couple generations ahead of me, but wasn’t taught any sort of manners or politeness. Would she talk to a waitress, cashier, or anyone else like this? A coworker? A cop? Her family? Maybe. Was she perhaps raised by a family of disgruntled midgets who couldn’t be in the Wizard of Oz? who knows.

Outside of those who work in the service industry, I don’t hear people saying please, thank you, or excuse me much anymore. Simply a honk of a horn, a dirty look, and a middle finger is what I see more often than not. When did people stop having manners? I’m not sure, but it needs to change…it’s getting old real quick

went to the good guys car show yesterday after surfing and while Natalie worked one of the vendor booths…TONS of awesome cars to see, but unfortunately the lighting wasn’t that great and there were way too many people there, which made things a little difficult, but here are some of the shots that I got
